Born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan on November
3, 1969.
Active in skiing and mountain climbing from an
early age due to the influence of his father.
Participated in cross-country events while at
high school and university.
Has participated in inter-high, inter-university
and national level events.
Moved to Hokkaido in 1996 and began working as
a guide.
Recognized as an Advanced Level Mountain Climbing
Guide by The Japan Federation of Mountain Guide
Associations
Certified as a Technical Rope Rescue Technician
by Rescue 3 Japan
1998: Climbed and skied down Mt. McKinley in
Alaska
2002: Participated in a sea kayaking and ski expedition
in the Aleutian archipelago
2003: Participated in a sea kayaking and ski expedition
in Greenland
2004: Participated in a motorcycle and ski expedition
in the Indian Himalaya
2005: Skied down Kamuekurunze slope on Mt. Kamuiekuuchikaushi
in the Hidaka range
2006: Skied down Pisco Peak (5,475m) in the South
American Andes, and climbed the southwest face
of Alpamayo Peak (5,947m)
